Appellate Services Firm Counsel Press Acquired by Align Capital

Counsel Press Inc., a provider of legal process outsourcing, has been acquired by Align Capital Partners, the companies said Tuesday.

New York-based Counsel Press, founded in 1938, describes itself as “the largest, most experienced appellate services company in the United States.” It says it prepares and files more than 8,000 appeals every year and works with 1,500 law firms, including 98 of the Am Law 100.
