DOJ Watchdog Urged by Senators to Probe HPE-Juniper Deal (1)

Four top Senate Democrats urged the Justice Department’s watchdog to investigate an antitrust settlement over Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and Juniper Networks Inc.

In a letterto Acting Inspector General William Blier, the senators said the circumstances of the settlement point “to possible politicization of the process” by which the Justice Department analyzes mergers and asked him to open an investigation.
