Civil Rights Advocates Sue Trump Over DEI, Gender Orders (1)

Civil rights groups filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration over a suite of executive orders that aim to root out diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and cut transgender protections in the federal government.

The National Urban League, National Fair Housing Alliance, and AIDS Foundation of Chicago sued President Donald Trump and a slew of government agencies seeking to block several of the sweeping orders in US District Court for the District of Columbia on Wednesday.
