Florida Justices Reprimand Parkland Shooter’s Judge (Correct)

The judge who oversaw the trial of a gunman who murdered 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., has been sanctioned by the Florida Supreme Court for ethics breaches.

The unanimous court issued a one-paragraph public reprimand for former Judge Elizabeth A. Scherer on Monday. She had already left the bench after announcing her retirement shortly before entering an agreement not to contest ethics charges last month.
