A New Jersey divorce client must pay her former lawyer nearly $665,000 plus interest because the fake, defamatory online reviews she left sent the lawyer into depression.

The New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division on Friday upheld the damages, which sprang from a dispute over a refund of fees from a $4,000 retainer in the client’s divorce case.
