A disbarred state judge won’t be returning to the bench with the California Supreme Court refusing to review his appeal.
Justices without comment Wednesday declined to consider former appellate justice Jeffrey Johnson’s request for the court to review his removal from the California Court of Appeal, Second District.
The Commission on Judicial Performance charged Johnson with 62 allegations of misconduct, including sexual misconduct toward 17 women and sexually harassing another judge.
Johnson denied the claims.
The case is Johnson v. Commission on Judicial Performance, Cal., No. S264179, review denied 1/27/21.
