California Bar Must Disclose Evidence in Ex-Director’s Case

The California Bar has a short deadline to produce material backing up its disciplinary case against former bar executive director Joseph Dunn, a State Bar Court judge warned the agency Thursday, a week after tossing some of the charges against him as untimely.

Judge Yvette D. Roland gave the bar until Feb. 23 to produce 66 emails and other responsive information about the investigation that Munger Tolles & Olson LLP conducted for the bar into charges Dunn misled the Board of Trustees about who paid for his trip to Mongolia.
