Bankruptcy Agent Must Litigate Jackson Walker Fees, Judge Says

The administrator winding down the estate of bankrupt hand sanitizer manufacturer 4E Brands Northamerica LLC will be replaced unless he moves to recover funds from Jackson Walker LLP, a judge said.

David Dunn, a Province LLC principal who has overseen the bankruptcy and liquidation of 4E Brands, has an “absolute duty” to take action against the law firm that previously represented him and the company in Chapter 11, Judge Marvin Isgur of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas said at a hearing Thursday.
