IAM 837 Will Not Vote on Boeing’s Revised Contract Offer

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union District 837 will not vote on Boeing’s offer that is “disrespectful to our members.”

• Offer made no meaningful improvements in the areas members have expressed to the union and company, IAM said
• The return to work agreement would allow managers and non-union workers to perform striking employees’ tasks for first 30-days back on the job, union said
• Boeing wants to terminate workers who don’t return to work immediately, the union said
