Zynga, IGT End Gaming Patent Case After Federal Circuit Rulings

Zynga Inc. and IGT resolved a mobile-gaming patent dispute after the Federal Circuit affirmed the invalidity of three patents.

Patent owners IGT and IGT Canada Solutions ULC and video game developer Zynga told the US District Court for the Western District of Texas they’d agreed to dismiss the case, in a joint stipulation filed Monday. IGT doesn’t plan to appeal or seek reconsideration of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit’s decisions, it said.
