Zillow Beats Patent Infringement Suit Over Real Estate Technology

Zillow Group Inc. has beaten a patent suit over real estate search technology, after the Federal Circuit agreed with a lower court that Zillow doesn’t infringe.

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington found Zillow mobile apps don’t infringe Corus Realty Holdings Inc.’s U.S. Patent No. 6,636,803, which covers a system for presenting information about properties in a real estate market.
