Zenith Firearms Inc. must defend a trade secrets lawsuit brought by Turkey’s state-run military products provider for allegedly stealing and using molds and blueprints to create guns.
Makina ve Kimya Endustrisi A.S., frequently referred to as MKE, sufficiently alleged that Zenith began bringing strikingly similar firearms to market after CEO Kutlay Kaya convinced one of its executives to misappropriate proprietary information about product designs, the US District Court for the Western District of Virginia said Monday.
