Zazzle Inc. must face claims that it violated a designer’s copyrights when it made a trio of her fonts available for commercial use on its consumer design platform.
There’s disputed evidence that only a jury can resolve on whether Nicky Laatz was on notice of the alleged infringement early enough to preclude her claims due to the relevant statutes of limitations, the US District Court for the Northern District of California said May 9, partially denying Zazzle’s bid for summary judgment.
