Zaxcom Inc. sued Australia-based Freedman Electronics Pty Ltd. and its Rode Microphones LLC unit alleging two of its wireless microphone systems infringe six patents related to wireless transmitters and receivers.
The lawsuit targets the Rode Go II and Rode Pro dual-channel wireless microphone systems, which Zaxcom said rely on patented technology used in Zaxcom’s ZMT4 series of transmitter products, according to the complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
