Luxury brand Yves Saint Laurent is entitled to a preliminary injuction against internet merchants allegedly selling fake YSL products and operating fake YSL websites, a federal court ruled.
YSL sued unidentified individuals behind the websites in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida, alleging that they sold items that bear the trademarked YSL logo without a license and cybersquatted by operating a fake YSL website.
None of the defendants formally responded to YSL’s motion for the injunction, nor have they made any appearance or filing in the case.
