World Wrestling Entertainment and a video game maker failed to convince a jury that depicting wrestler Randy Orton’s tattoos was fair use, but owe just a fraction of what the tattoo artist sought.
Catherine Alexander won $3,750 in damages Friday after a week-long trial in the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. But the jury found none of the profits from Take Two Interactive Software Inc.'s WWE 2K video game series were attributable to their rendering of five Orton tattoos.
