Workday Sues Washington State University Over Trade Secrets (1)

Workday Inc. sued Washington State University to prevent a response to a public records request that it says would reveal trade secrets.

Workday gave WSU confidential information about its operations as part of a proposal and must keep it secret from a market research group under a nondisclosure agreement, Workday said in a Dec. 30 complaint in Washington federal court.

WSU contracted with Workday to provide the university software.
