Equipment brand LA Golf Partners LLC sued the professional virtual golf league created by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, accusing it of deliberately infringing its “LA Golf Club” trademark.
The lawsuit comes after the Woods-McIlroy league—TGL Golf Holdings LLC—filed a declaratory judgment suit against LA Golf earlier this month seeking to secure its rights to trademarks for its Los Angeles Golf Club team name.
