Winterspring Digital LLC, a Texas-based technology company, has sued Check Point Software Technologies LTD for making, using and selling products that allegedly infringe its patented software.
Winterspring owns two registered patents for technologies that transmit data over a network. Those technologies are allegedly being used by Check Point in its Quantum, CloudGuard, Harmony and Horizon products, according to a complaint filed May 28 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Winterspring asserts two counts of patent infringement.
