A federal judge sanctioned Winston & Strawn attorneys representing Musi Inc. in a lawsuit challenging
Musi’s allegation that Apple admitted to relying on false evidence to eliminate the app “is so factually baseless” that sanctions are necessary, Judge Eumi K. Lee said Monday in an order filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Winston & Strawn must pay Apple attorneys’ fees and costs related to litigating the sanctions.
