Wild Man Sues Temu Over ‘Shotgunning’ Can Opener Sales (1)

Whaleco Inc., doing business as Temu, was hit with a lawsuit alleging patent, copyright, and trademark infringement for selling knockoffs of a device that helps people safely puncture a beverage can to drink out of the container’s side.

Wild Man Lab LLC and its Wild Man Drinking Co. unit claim the product sold on Temu has similar markings, methods, and advertisements to their product “The Krak’In,” according to the complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District Court of Delaware.
