Champion Power Equipment Inc. sued Westinghouse Electric Corp., alleging it sold multi-fuel generators that infringe ten patents.
Westinghouse, along with several subsidiaries, sold electricity generators that use Champion’s protected methods for assembling an engine operable on liquid and gaseous fuel, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Nevada.
Champion asserted US Patent Nos. 10,393,034, 11,143,120, 11,492,985, 10,221,780, 10,598,101, 10,697,398, 11,143,145, 11,306,667, 11,905,895 and 11,905,896.
Champion said it inspected the Westinghouse generators, images, and owner’s manuals as it developed its allegations.
