Wendy’s, Fall Line Reach Settlement in Patent Infringement Case

Wendy’s International LLC and Quality is Our Recipe LLC reached a settlement with Fall Line Patents LLC in a suit alleging that the restaurant chain infringed a data management system patent.

The parties filed a joint motion to dismiss with prejudice all claims and counterclaims made against each other, they told the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas Aug. 28. Counsel for the parties didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment, and terms of the settlement weren’t made available.
