Warner Bros. Wins Attorneys’ Fees in ‘Conjuring’ Trademark Suit

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. convinced a federal judge to grant it roughly $580,000 in attorneys’ fees and costs from the intellectual property rights lawsuit over the horror film “The Conjuring.”

Judge James O. Browning found that Warner Bros.’ calculation of the costs, supported paid invoices and other material, was reasonable and that the plaintiffs had deleted excessive, unnecessary, or redundant costs from its fee application, according to the order filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of New Mexico.
