A federal judge in California dropped a hair product company’s complaint that Walmart Inc. infringed its trademarks by allegedly selling counterfeit products online after the parties called it quits.
Olaplex LLC and Liqwd Inc. sued Wal-Mart.com USA LLC and Walmart Inc. last year for allegedly distributing and selling counterfeit Olaplex products. Liqwd owned the trademarks and licensed them to its affiliate Olaplex, the complaint said.
