Walmart Fails to Scuttle Patagonia’s ‘Patagucci’ Trademark Suit

Walmart Inc. and designer Robin Ruth USA failed to escape any of outdoor clothing company Patagonia Inc.'s lawsuit over ‘Patagucci’ products sold on Walmart’s online store.

Patagonia’s amended complaint shouldn’t be dismissed or partially stricken because it didn’t go beyond court instructions or fail to sufficiently specify its claims, the US District Court for the Central District of California said.
