Walmart, CVS Patent Claim by Lashify to Be Probed by ITC

The U.S. International Trade Commission has launched an investigation into a patent-infringement complaint closely held Lashify filed claiming retailers including Walmart and CVS Health are infringing its patents for artificial eyelash extension systems, according to a notice posted Friday to the agency’s website.

  • Lashify, which has said its products are used by celebrities including Nicole Kidman and Claire Danes, wants to block imports of artificial eyelash extensions, cartridges for packaging and storing extensions, application devices, bonding agents and removers, according to notice
