W.R. Grace Sues Elysium for Patent Damages on Dietary Supplement

W.R. Grace said Elysium’s dietary supplement Basis, which contains crystalline nicotinamide riboside that “promotes a healthy cellular aging process,” infringes three Grace patents and infringes Grace’s provisional rights to three published patent applications.

  • Grace is seeking cash compensation of a reasonable royalty, a court order blocking further unauthorized use of its inventions, and damages for any continuing future infringement if the court doesn’t grant such an order, according to a complaint filed Friday in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware
