Volvo Countersues Photographer, Model Over Sedan Photo Shoot

A photographer and model who sued Volvo for allegedly using their photos in social media ads without permission were countersued by the car company for trademark infringement in Los Angeles federal court.

Photographer Jack Schroeder and model Britni Sumida’s photo shoot with a Volvo car was an improper attempt to associate themselves with the brand, according to a Wednesday filing in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
