Vicor Corp. Hits Competitors With Patent Suits Over Power Tech

Vicor Corp. filed patent infringement lawsuits against competitors Luxshare Precision Industry Co., Delta Electronics Inc., Monolithic Power Systems Inc., and Wistron Corp. over their creation and sale of power modules and circuit board products.

The rival products infringe US Patent No. 12,395,087, which protects “power distribution architecture with series-connected bus converter,” according to the complaints filed Friday. The patent owner said the competitors imported infringing products and encouraged others to infringe.
