Mylan Pharmaceuticals, a unit of Viatris Inc., can launch generic versions of two Heron Therapeutics anti-nausea drugs in June 2032, following a settlement of a pair of federal patent infringement suits.
According to an order issued Tuesday by Judge William C. Bryson’s in the US District Court for the District of Delaware, the deal allows either company to renew allegations, if necessary. A combined bench trial had been set to start May 19 in Washington, where Bryson, sitting by designation in Delaware, is a senior judge for the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
