One of the patents-in-suit is for a system for obtaining an emergency caller’s location, which can be used to enhance 911 service, the complaint filed May 3 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas says. The second patent is for a system to record and analyze voice message usage information—it provides “tractable information for voice messages, allowing companies to enforce a voice message usage policy,” the abstract attached to the complaint says.
