Verisk Denied New Trial in $125 Million Aerial Image Patent Loss

Verisk Analytics Inc. will not get a new trial after a jury said the firm owed $125 million for infringing EagleView Technologies Inc. patents on aerial-imaging technology, a New Jersey federal district court ruled.

Following the September 2019 verdict, Verisk and its Xactware Solutions Inc. unit complained EagleView steered the case “on a journey through the looking glass,” bringing the parties involved “deep within some unreal wonderland - where up is down, left is right.”
