Vera Bradley Alleges Dollar Tree Copied Designs for Glasses (1)

Dollar Tree Stores Inc. misuses Vera Bradley Designs Inc.'s copyrighted designs on its eyeglasses, sunglasses, and glasses cases, according to a complaint filed in Indiana federal court.

Vera Bradley told the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana that it learned about the alleged ripoffs on a Facebook fan page. A post on the page showed a pair of glasses and a case using Vera Bradley’s “Flutterby” pattern that was supposedly available at Dollar Tree.
