VC Bradley Tusk Pivots to Offering Startups Advice — Not Cash

Political fixer Bradley Tusk’s venture firm is taking a different tack with its latest investment push: Instead of doling out cash to startups, it’s offering advice in return for equity — and scrapping plans to raise a fourth fund.

The pivot will spare Tusk the pain of fundraising in a grisly climate for startups and VCs, and return the investor to his political roots.
