Vans Inc. accused the art collective MSCHF Product Studio Inc. of marketing shoes that illegally infringe Vans’ trademarked side stripe design found on its Old Skool shoe, in a complaint filed Thursday in New York federal court.
The complaint said the Wavy Baby shoes, which MSCHF plans to begin selling on April 18, also “blatantly and unmistakably copied” Vans’ trademarks and trade dress for its product packaging.
