Vans, MSCHF Agree to End ‘Wavy Baby’ Shoe Fight With Injunction

Vans Inc. reached a settlement with MSCHF Product Studio Inc. in their dispute over “Wavy Baby” sneakers that will block future production of the shoes resembling Vans’ “Old Skool” line.

Vans’ attorneys notified Judge William F. Kuntz II of the agreement Tuesday, filing a proposed consent judgment and permanent injunction with the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Agreement terms are confidential, the filing said.

MSCHF acknowledges the validity of Vans’ trademarks, according to the draft of the proposed order, which would immediately block MSCHF from selling any version of Wavy Baby shoes and using any ...
