Oct. 13, 2022, 8:16 PM UTC

The US International Trade Commission voted to investigate HC Robotics and Invata, LLC, for allegedly violating the Tariff Act of 1930, according to a Wednesday news release.

OPEX Corporation filed its complaint Sept. 9 and supplemented Sept. 29, according to the USITC.

The commission said it will conduct a section 337 investigation over allegations that automated put walls, automated storage and retrieval systems, vehicles, and control software imported into the US by the respondents violate patents asserted by OPEX.

OPEX is requesting a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders, the USITC said.
