US-based cybersecurity firm Dmarcian Inc. confirmed its win blocking its Dutch counterpart, Dmarcian Europe BV, from using its intellectual property as the Fourth Circuit affirmed Tuesday that foreign litigation alone can’t end the fight between the two former partner companies.
Dmarcian Europe—which Dmarcian Inc. sued in 2021 for trade secrets theft and trademark and copyright infringement in US federal court—attempted to escape the lawsuit by arguing that the court should defer to the Dutch courts.
