Upper Deck and Leaf Resolve Sports Trading Card Antitrust Row

Sports trading card makers The Upper Deck Co. and Leaf Trading Cards LLC have reached a settlement of trademark infringement and antitrust claims, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas said Tuesday.

The terms of the agreement are unknown and counsel for the companies didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Upper Deck initially sued Leaf, alleging it violated federal trademark law by producing cards bearing the likenesses of players with whom Upper Deck held an exclusive agreement, including Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky.
