The University of Georgia isn’t immune from trade secrets claims under state law, the Georgia Court of Appeals said June 27.
Although Georgia’s trade secret law doesn’t expressly or impliedly waive sovereign immunity, the claims against UGA can proceed under the state’s Tort Claims Act.
