United Cannabis Corp.’s patent lawsuit against a rival over related technology is on hold after the Colorado-based company filed for bankruptcy.
Judge William Martinez administratively closed the infringement case against Pure Hemp Collective Inc. on Tuesday, a day after United Cannabis’ Chapter 11 filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado. Pure Hemp’s counterclaims were automatically stayed with the filing.
