Uniloc’s Bluetooth Patent Case Against LG Revived by Fed. Cir.

LG Electronics USA Inc. must face revived claims that it infringed a Bluetooth connectivity patent after the Federal Circuit on Thursday reversed a California federal court decision that invalidated parts of the patent.

The Northern District of California wrongly found the relevant parts of Uniloc USA Inc.'s patent were directed to an abstract idea, the Federal Circuit said.
