Under Armour Inc. charged Armorina LLC with trademark infringement for using a brand name likely to confuse consumers.

Armorina’s name misappropriates Under Armour’s branding “and combines it with the feminine suffix INA—in violation of Under Armour’s trademark rights,” the suit alleges.

Under Armour manufactures footwear, sports, and casual apparel for men and women. Armorina sells fitness and activewear apparel and accessories for women.

Armorina’s use of the name is likely to cause confusion about the source of its products, and falsely suggests an association between Armorina’s products and Under Armour, the complaint alleges.
