Capitol Records and parent UMG Recordings Inc. settled the remainder of what started as a putative class action lawsuit by several artists seeking to recapture their copyrights.
Rock vocalists and guitarists John Waite and Joe Ely sued to exercise their termination rights in US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
