Deckers Outdoor Corporation, owner of the American fashion brand UGG, sued its competitor over a new line of slippers it says violates UGG’s intellectual property rights.
Deckers filed suit against MBF Holdings LLC in the US District Court for the District of Wyoming, alleging MBF’s Tommy Hilfiger “Laydown” slippers infringed Deckers’ trade dress and patent for the UGG-branded “Fluff Yeah” line of slides.
