Uber, Lyft Sued for Allegedly Infringing Ride-hailing Patent

Uber Technologies Inc. and Lyft Inc. were sued by a patent holding company for allegedly infringing its patent on calling rides and paying for them (Hailo Technologies, LLC v. Uber Technologies, Inc., C.D. Cal., 2:17-cv-03028, Complaint filed 4/21/17; Hailo Technologies, LLC v. Lyft Inc, C.D. Cal., 2:17-cv-03031, Complaint filed 4/21/17).
