Uber Eats Faces Trademark Claim by Maryland-Based Pizza Chain

Uber Technologies Inc.'s food delivery service, Uber Eats, infringes the trademark of Ledo Pizza by advertising that it delivers meals for the restaurant chain despite having no affiliation with the company, a lawsuit filed in federal court alleges.

Ledo Pizza Systems Inc. said advertising on both the Uber Eats website and mobile application uses its trademark and a menu identical to its products.
