The U.S. International Trade Commission voted to start an investigation into LTE-compliant cellular communications systems following a complaint filed by Evolved Wireless.
- Samsung Electronics , Motorola Mobility have been identified as respondents in the investigation
- The complainant requests that the ITC issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders
- The complaint alleges violations of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 in imports into the U.S. and sale of certain LTE-compliant cellular communication devices that infringe patents asserted by the complainant
