Trump Sued by Isaac Hayes’ Estate After Four Years of ‘Hold On’

The Estate of Isaac Hayes and Isaac Hayes Enterprises LLC sued Donald Trump and his allies for misusing the famous songwriter’s “Hold On (I’m Coming)” after the presidential candidate didn’t adhere to demands to take down all references to the song.

Isaac Hayes Enterprises LLC, which owns the rights to the late-musician’s song, said Trump used the tune at least 133 times without permission since 2020, according to the complaint filed on Aug. 16 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
